What it costs — published in full.

Monthly. Payments are due on the first of each month beginning August 1. A $20 late fee applies if payment arrives more than five business days after the first, excluding holidays, vacations and closings.

Semi-annual. Two payments: fall tuition covering September through December is due August 1; spring tuition covering January through June is due January 1.

Students enrolling after the year begins have their first payment calculated on the actual remaining classes, so they catch up with the regular schedule.

Parents may withdraw a student at any time, for any reason. We ask for one month's notice in writing; refunds are prorated and processed only after written notice is received.

Cancellations are handled on a monthly cycle. To cancel effective December, notice must arrive no later than November 1. Notice given November 15 ends enrollment as of January 1 — the next billing cycle. Tuition for the current month, the following month, and the registration fee are not refunded.

There are no refunds for withdrawal after April 1. Summer program tuition is non-refundable after the first class.

We don't offer make-up sessions for classes a student misses, whatever the reason. Tuition-paying students receive class and homework materials by email within 48 hours. Classes canceled by the center for weather are the exception and are made up.

Private and semi-private sessions must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. A fee equal to one hour of tutoring applies to later changes, except for weather-related cancellations or cancellations due to tutor availability.

The center may cancel an advertised class if fewer than three students enroll — unless a family chooses to continue at the private tutoring rate for one student, or the semi-private rate for two.

Weather cancellations are announced by 2 PM on weekdays and 8 AM on weekends, by email. If the center hasn't closed but roads in your area are in bad condition, use your own discretion. Safety first.

Students in grades K through 5 must be brought in by an adult no more than five to seven minutes before class; teachers collect them three to five minutes beforehand. Students may not be left unaccompanied at any time.

All students K–10 must be dropped off and picked up on the premises by a parent or legal guardian — please tell the office if your child is carpooling. No student under 12 may leave unsupervised unless a signed Walk/Bike Home Release is on file with the office. No exceptions.

Parents and caregivers of children with medical conditions must notify the center.

Parents aren't able to observe during lessons, as it disrupts the class; if there's a specific need to sit in, speak with the administration. We encourage conversations about your child's progress before or after class, and appointments can be made for longer discussions.

No eating during class unless a medical condition requires it — please notify the office if one exists. Snacks (no peanuts) and drinks may be eaten during the break or after class. Homework should be completed and brought to the next class.

The center may end a student's enrollment if classroom behavior is consistently disruptive and doesn't change after the teacher's requests and warnings — parents are informed of incidents on a timely basis — or if tuition is more than one month overdue. Any unused tuition is refunded, subject to the April 1 cutoff; the registration fee is not.
